​With the enduring hope of creating school spaces that spark joy, wonder and dreams, Project Makeover is thrilled to announce its annual Mini Makeover on October 25. This year, Mini Makeover will occur at four locations: Stephen Foster Elementary School, Lake Forest Elementary, Shell Elementary School and Grow Hub.

​It is with heavy hearts and condolences that we share news of the passing of Tate Hankla. We lost Tate suddenly on May 3rd, 2020. 

We are so grateful for the memories we have of Tate and the beautiful times he spent with us as a dedicated member of Project Makeover at the University of Florida. Tate had a passion for helping others and a deep commitment to the mission of our organization: to create dynamic learning environments for elementary school students. 

​Meet Taylor Reid, our Marketing Manager! After changing her major three times, she is working towards her Bachelor’s in Marketing! She is from Boca Raton, has four dogs, and hate flying but loves to travel!

Meet Elizabeth Neuzil, our Project Manager. As a civil engineering major, she is holding the tool belt for this year’s makeover. She’s from Jacksonville, loves traveling, dogs and mac-and-cheese. For her, PM is important because of its impacts on the Gainesville community.

Project Makeover is a working vessel of alumni, members and volunteers. Project Makeover’s Advisory Board enables the organization to gain new partnerships, cultivate alumni relations and connect community members. 

Josh Jackson is the current chair of the Project Makeover Advisory Board. As the founder of Project Makeover in 2008, Josh is dedicated to the belief that children should have positive and bright learning environments.

Project Makeover is proud to help spread the joy of learning. As we paint, build and beautify schools across Alachua County, we hope to make school days bright and dynamic for young minds and educators alike.

​Gratitude. During the holiday season, that’s what Project Makeover put in focus. As we work to spread the joy of learning throughout Alachua County, we are so grateful for the opportunity to positively impact elementary school communities. 

In the past decade, we have been able to transform 10 Alachua County elementary schools. As we head into the 2020 Makeover Weekend in February, we are grateful we can help inspire future generations of learners.

​Bailey Shawver is our Operations Manager and has been involved with PM since her freshman year. She is working towards her Bachelor’s in Marketing and her Master’s in International Business. 

​Meet our Executive Director, Stephanie Bradley. She loves yoga, sushi and is obsessed with coffee. She’s also  a fourth-year accounting student.. This will be Stephanie’s fourth year with Project Makeover!
